  • Dr. Park has been working as a president at SHINUSNG PATENT FIRM, LLC. As a chair of Shinsung IP Group, he also arranges and organizes the activities of the Group, and develops strong interrelationships between the firms. Dr. Park received a Ph. D. degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering. He was admitted to Korean Patent Bar in 1986, and recognized as the first Korean patent attorney specializing in telecommunication engineering.


    Before becoming a patent attorney, Dr. Park had precious experiences in Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) as a researcher. Dr. Park practices primarily in patent cases in the fields of electronic and electrical engineering, telecommunication technology, information technology, and semiconductors. As a counselor, he has provided his expertise to SK Hynix semiconductor for more than 30 years.

  • Mr. Wonn has been working as a managing partner at SHINUSNG PATENT FIRM, LLC. He obtained his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Aerospace University in Seoul. After graduating the university, he worked as a researcher for Daewoo Motor Co., Ltd. for three years. He was admitted to Korean patent Bar in 1993 and was associated with Myung-Shin & Partners prior to joining Shinsung. He concentrates his practice in patent cases in the fields of automobile, internal-combustion engine, transmission, air conditioner, refrigeration, medical device, precision measurement equipment, etc.

  • At SHINUSNG PATENT FIRM, LLC, Mr. Choi practices primarily in trademark, design patent, unfair competition and domain name matters. Mr. Choi was admitted to Korean Patent Bar in 1995. He received a LL.M. degree in intellectual property law from Graduate School of Legal Studies, Korea University, and studied as a visiting scholar at the law school of the University of Washington in USA.


    Mr. Choi actively participated in the activities with the KIPO, as a member of the Committee for Revision of Korean Design Law, and as a member of the Advisory Commission on Design Patent Policy. He also led discussion and research regarding Korean Trademark Law and issues, as a chair of the Trademark Committee of the Korea Patent Attorneys Association (KPAA). For years, Mr. Choi has represented clients in a number of court cases regarding trademarks and designs.

  •   Mr. Park received a B.S. degree in electro-mechanical engineering from Yonsei University, and another B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Konkuk University. He was admitted to Korean Patent Bar in 1998. At SHINUSNG PATENT FIRM, LLC, Mr. Park has provided his expertise to Hynix semiconductor, ETRI, and KT Corporation for over ten years. He concentrates his practice in patent cases in the fields of terminal for mobile communication, semiconductor, optical-communication network, electric circuit, wire/mobile communication system, computer network, and computer related technology.

  •  Mr. Cho obtained his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Yonsei University. He was admitted to Korean Patent Attorney in 2012. Prior to joining Shinsung, he was associated with Nam&Nam Patent Office over ten years. He concentrates his practice in the areas of patent cases concerning organic/inorganic chemicals, biochemistry, materials engineering, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, genetic engineering, and nanotechnology.

Mr. Kim served as a senior patent engineer for twenty years in the foreign filing department of Shinsung International Patent and Law firm and First Law Offices of Korea.
